Multifocal contacts
Multifocal contact lenses optimize the balance of near, immediate and far

can take some time to get used to and its normal to have follow-up exams where your eye
doctor can make minor adjustments to improve your experience.
Multifocal lenses can be a great option if you use readers and want to
avoid taking them
on and off throughout the day, or if you need multiple prescriptions for distance and
reading.
Single vision contacts
Single Vision contact lenses have only one prescription for either farsightedness,
nearsightedness, or astigmatism. The prescription is evenly distributed across the
lens.

Contacts for astigmatism
Toric contact lenses are designed for astigmatism to correct blurred or
distorted
vision. Astigmatism is a refractive error, meaning your cornea is made of asymmetrical
curves, causing light to focus differently. This can blur vision, often worsening in
low-light conditions like driving at night.
Common symptoms of astigmatism include blurred or distorted vision, difficulty with

While this problem can occur, it is rare when the contact lenses have been fit to you and are prescribed by a qualified eye care professional. Proper care, handling and replacement of the rescripted lenses can help reduce the chances of any complications.
This is very unlikely. Contact lenses are usually easily removed using the method your eye doctor recommends. All it takes is a little practice and patience.
No, they cannot. A membrane called the conjunctiva covers the white of your eye and connects to the inside of your eyelid. So, there’s no chance that a contact lens can go behind your eye.
